A cancer awareness bus will visit Bentley Bridge leisure park in Wolverhampton on Tuesday 22 September 2026, from 9.30am to 3pm, offering free health checks and information about cancer screening and early detection.
The Birmingham, Black Country and Solihull Cancer Bus is touring the region to raise awareness of cancer and give residents the opportunity to speak directly with healthcare professionals.
What to expect
People visiting the bus can access free health checks, information about the national cancer screening programmes, and advice on signs and symptoms to watch for. Local support services will also be available on board.
Council encouragement
Councillor Obaida Ahmed, Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Community at City of Wolverhampton Council, said: "I would encourage anyone who has any questions about the signs and symptoms of cancer, screening, diagnosis or treatment to come along to speak to experts who will be on board."
