Wolverhampton residents are invited to help create a shared artwork at the Mander Centre during a free three-day drawing event this week.
The University of Wolverhampton is working with The Big Draw on the project, which runs from Tuesday 27 to Thursday 29 October 2026.
Shoppers and visitors can add drawings inspired by the city’s people, buildings, memories and everyday experiences. Contributions will gradually form a large artwork reflecting Wolverhampton and its communities.
Fine Art and Illustration practitioners from the university will lead the activities. Organisers say no previous drawing experience is needed and materials will be provided.
Taking part
The university says there will be scheduled activities and informal drop-in opportunities. Admission is free. Visitors can check the university’s event information for updates before travelling.
