Wolverhampton Business Week will run from 21 to 24 September, featuring five networking and business events across the city.
Molineux Meets: The Power of People
The week opens on Monday, 21 September from 10am to 12pm at the Sir Jack Hayward Suite, Molineux Stadium. Black and Asian leaders from public service, business, entrepreneurship, academia, culture and community leadership will share experiences, influences and challenges that have shaped their journeys.
Women's Business Masterclass
Also on Monday, 21 September, Access to Business will run the Women's Business Masterclass at Genting Casino from 4.30pm to 7pm. Key speakers include Anna-Maria McAuliffe, Maya Patel, Aysha Smith and Jane Ward MBE, who will share their experiences, insights and journeys.
Wolverhampton Wednesday Networking
On Wednesday, 23 September from 9am to 11am, City of Wolverhampton College's city centre campus in the City Learning Quarter will host Wolverhampton Wednesday. Co-hosted by the college and Black Country Chamber of Commerce, the event provides a relaxed networking environment for professionals, business owners and decision makers. It is open to both Chamber members and non-members.
Hospitality and Visitor Economy Forum
Thursday, 24 September will see Wolverhampton Business Improvement District (BID) launch the Hospitality and Visitor Economy Forum from 10.30am to 12pm. The event will feature a Q&A session about opportunities and key issues for the sector, information about BID services and details on free 'Ask Angela' training. Christian Sawyer, West Midlands Combined Authority policy lead for the nighttime economy, will speak.
Wolverhampton Business EXPO 2026
On Thursday, 24 September from 10am to 4pm, Staff Today and RG Wilbrey will stage Wolverhampton Business EXPO 2026 at The Mount Country Manor Hotel and Golf. The event will feature more than 30 local businesses and organisations. Guest speakers Keetan Patel, founder of Kee2Fitness, and Paul Cox, Founder Director of Reconomy Group, will share their business journeys.
Councillor Stephen Simkins, City of Wolverhampton Council Leader, said: "We want our businesses to grow, thrive and drive more investment and opportunities for local people. Business Week provides a host of excellent events where businesses can meet new people, learn from each other's experiences and explore new ideas that can fuel their plans."
