A 60-year-old man has been charged with murder following the discovery of a body on South Road, Smethwick on Thursday.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was found after a member of the public contacted police. Cecil Dillon has been charged in connection with the death and is due to appear before magistrates in Wolverhampton.
Police Appeal for Information
West Midlands Police said the family of the deceased have been informed of his death. Officers are checking CCTV in the area and have appealed for anyone with information to get in touch.
Police are asking anyone with CCTV, mobile phone or dashcam footage from the area to contact them.
