Residents at Foxland Grange on Wergs Road in Wolverhampton welcomed community visitors for a board-game café.

Care UK, which operates the home, says participants played games including Snakes and Ladders and Connect Four.

Games across generations

The gathering formed part of the operator’s Bored Games initiative, which brings residents and visitors together around traditional tabletop games.

Home manager Zoe Smart thanked everyone who took part and said staff looked forward to another games night.

The home shared details of the gathering in its October announcement; it did not give an event date.
