A coffee morning at a Wolverhampton hearing centre has raised £120 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Staff at the locally run Specsavers hearing centre in Queen Square organised the event with cakes, stalls and games, according to the announcement supplied on behalf of the business.

Visitors could take part in a tombola, guess how many sweets were in a jar and try a game of pin the hearing device on the ear. A team quiz also tested colleagues’ knowledge.

The money will go to Macmillan Cancer Support. The fundraiser brought together colleagues and customers for the charity appeal.

Audiology director Adam Sadler thanked those who donated and the team who organised the morning. He said it was encouraging to see customers support the event.

The photographs supplied with the announcement show colleagues Dionne Gibbons and Nikki Gethin at the centre, and a raffle prize being presented to a customer.
