Wolverhampton residents are invited to a free Help at the Hub event on Tuesday 11 August between 11am and 2pm at The Gathering Space, Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Lichfield Street, WV1 1DU.
The event brings together representatives from a range of local organisations offering free advice and information on various topics including health, education, finance and wellbeing.
Which organisations will be present?
Attendees will be able to speak with representatives from Act on Energy, Alzheimer's Society, Environmental Crime, Financial Wellbeing and Healthwatch. Officers from KOOTH, Public Protection, Rethink, Shared Lives, SUIT, Terrific for Twos, Wolverhampton College and WorkWell will also be available.
City of Wolverhampton Council's Public Protection Scams Team will hand out free scams awareness and prevention packs at the event.
What to expect
Councillor Qaiser Azeem, cabinet member for resident services at City of Wolverhampton Council, said: "By bringing a wide range of organisations together in one place we can offer people guidance on lots of different topics. This makes it easier for people to access the support they need in one visit."
No appointment is necessary to attend. Visitors are asked to be prepared to wait if the event is busy.
