Parents and guardians in Wolverhampton applying for secondary school places for September 2027 can submit applications from Thursday 10 September 2026. The deadline is 31 October 2026.
The application window opens on the School admissions portal, where parents and guardians must complete their online application.
Free Help Available at Application Surgeries
Anyone needing support with their online application is invited to attend School Application Surgeries at the Civic Centre, St Peter's Square, Wolverhampton. Sessions run on Thursdays 10 September, 24 September, 15 October and 29 October 2026, from 10am to 2pm. No appointment is necessary.
Wolverhampton City Council's Customer Services team will be available to help with any queries about the application process.
What Council Says
Councillor Jeszemma Howl, Cabinet Member for Governance and Digital, said parents and carers should start considering their school choices now and submit applications before the end of October deadline.
"If you need any help or support with your online application, please come along to one of the surgeries taking place over the next few weeks, and our Customer Services team will be happy to help you with any queries you may have," Councillor Howl said.
