Wolverhampton City Council is consulting on a draft Voluntary and Community Sector Strategy and is inviting residents to have their say before the consultation closes on 10 August.
What the strategy aims to do
Councillor Obaida Ahmed, Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Community, said the draft strategy will mark a step change in how the council works with the sector. It reflects engagement with the sector and sets out a commitment to building stronger relationships, improving collaboration, and treating the sector as an equal partner in shaping the future of the city.
Who can take part
The council is encouraging anyone with an interest in Wolverhampton's voluntary and community sector to take part. This includes people involved in local organisations, volunteers, and anyone who wants to help shape the future of the city.
